help with fastback removeal front beam?

hi having just bought this fastback ive decided to do a winter resto and decided to remove the front beam tho at the moment the wheels are off(new tyres been fitted)and ive got the front on 2 x axle stands on the front beam..i want to remove the front beam how do i do this ,what bolts etc(new to this)and where then do i put the axle stands when taking beam off any help and advice thanks

The frame horns are good for support.

I think it's remove the 2 top bolts into the body, the steering arm and the axle clamps (6 bolts). There are various spacers etc which need keeping a record of! Brake hoses/pipes need separating too.

You have got a manual of some sort, I hope! Lots of good advice hidden in those.

There are three on each axle clamp - two from the front into the top and middle, then one from the back on the bottom.

M10, so 15mm heads.

Make sure you know where the rubber bits go!

hi thanks ed ive managed to nearly get beam off,just catching on steering damper as its all free ill carry on tomorrow as a bit dark down

now off ..dint mention in book about steering coupling,awkward 2 13 mm bolts,
