valve gaps

Post by Fastlife » 4th September 2007 - 5:04pm

The engine on my 71 built fasty is a bit tappety.

Just wondering what the clearances should be in thou for that year 1600cc?

Is setting them the same procedure as for a type 1 engine?

Im a new to the type 3 scene have yet to acquire a bentley/haynes book for my car.

Thanks in advance for any help offered
