Where will I find the switch that operates the reversing lights as mine have suddenly failed and its neither the fuse or bulbs themselves. Is it somewhere underneath the gear lever? And is it difficult to access? Thanks, Mark.

It's in the nose of the gearbox (manual transmission) or under the selector in automatics.
Worth just connecting the switch wires together and see if that does the trick before going to the trouble of getting another switch. The other thing that happens is the wire going over the drive shafts rubs through. There is an inline fuse in the engine compartment - I guess that's the one you've checked.
