Ball Joints

I have a Lowered 1967 Type 3 fastback that has just failed its MOT on Ball Joints and Track Rod ends.

The garage has asked if I can obtain some "extended ball joints" due to the car being lowered.

As yet I can't find any on the interent.

My question, do I actually require extended balls joints and if so does anyone know where I can get them.

They don't exist for Type 3's - only Beetles.
