What is the best disc set up i can use for my late 63 i still want to keep wide 5 wheels

I'm no engineer but when you think the centre of the disc has to be as big as the drum for the bolts to bite into steel rather than air, you may be asking the impossible.

Mmm, only £750, too.

There's absolutely no need to change, though if the drum brakes are in need of attention it might be simpler than trying to source the old bits.

The drum brakes on a Type 3 were always well-praised for their excellent performance, and there's something to be said against over-powerful discs on the front of a rear-engined car.

Any changes needed to the master cylinder for this mod?
