How can I tell if I have an EMPI header (and dont say it says empi on it - i've already looked)?

i think most of the 4 into 1 headers are the same

That's what I thought but apparently EMPI moved the flange round so they only fit EMPI silencers. I think i've got an EMPI header but I'm not sure.

you could always grind the welds off on the flange
and weld it back on in a different posistion

This may seem a daft question but please bare in mind I'm not technically minded.

How do you fit J tubes? I have my 4 into 1 header but do j tubes have to be welded or are they bolt ons or what?

i think the j tubes slot inside the header then just a exhaust clamp
to tighten up.

oh good an easy job then. Only trouble is I wont have any heating after fitting the j tubes but then my heater system's shot anyway.

just make sure you dont end up with any leaks on
the exhaust
