2ltr porsche 914 engine into fastback?

I have owned a few and still do own one porsche 914 and have a spare 2ltr engine, the question i have is how difficult will it be to fit into the back of my fastback? I know the tinware will need fabricatiing but what about the engine mounts etc as they are similar but also quite different.

anyone done it?

i take it u hav a car 4 every occasion so instead of changing all the tin y dont u jus leave the hatch open and hav the top of the fan come up inside the boot?
u have still got a luggage area in the front!

either match the mounts to suit of try 1 of those harness things people use on bugs that connects on the gearbox or the 2 arm thingys if it fits

i aint seen 1, its jus some suggestions

is the fasty a irs or straight axle?? have a 2ltr in my notch, was all under the lid but am going turbo and horizontal shroud setup so will not need my front tin and altererd bellows
