pulley seal?

I am about to fit the tinwear but ive got this seal on the pulley it seems to big and i can't figure where else it would go!

I think that seals between the aluminium fan housing and the black steel fan pulley housing.

Yarp Dave, just refitted that myself The reason it's too big is it's made of silicone, more heat resistant than rubber but over time can stretch all on its own Cut it so its a just under the right size, staple it together (x2 staples) and if you have some Evo (which i didn't) also glue it to the fan shroud. Once it's all clamped up it shouldn't move anyhoe

Thanks for the replys, i just couldnt figure out why it was so big, didnt look like it would stretch! ill be cutting it down to size!
