Like the cars we love, some of the club admin is also old technology, and while in theory you could make a direct bank transfer, at the moment it's doubtful if the details would appear on a statement in one month or six. If anyone has experience of Paypal business accounts, by all means p-mail me and set my mind at rest, though it still needs someone computer literate to manage it.

If you can't get a friend to write a cheque for you, a crossed postal order would be fine. I hesitate to suggest sending money - some of the PO employees seem to be able to find it through several layers of mail-bags. Shame they can't be employed in drugs-busts or something more beneficial!

Several societies and groups use PayPal but it attracts a 2½% surcharge for the recipient. A PO attracts a similar surcharge but the sender pays.
