Lowering springs??????

Does anyone know if the front springs on a 412 are the same as those on a 1302/1303, are the springs interchangeable as i want to lower the font end a little and know where i can get some shorter 02/03 springs?

No is the simple answer. BMW E30 springs are the ones to go for (the old BMW 316 or 320) would be a better bet.

I think it is the stock springs you need and going from what I've read on other forums they should drop the nose a couple of inches or so. Much more than that and you start risking excessive wear to other suspension parts, such as the lower ball joints.

A rather long thread but it gives plenty of good info. I can't find it at the moment but there is pictures somewhere of a 412 on E30 springs.
