Type 4 Facebook Page
Type 4 Facebook Page
I've been sent this URL by Petra Gunkel, for a Type 4 Facebook page.
It's mostly in German, but Google translate will probably cope reasonably and you'll get a few laughs in the translation!

They call the Type 4 a 'Coati' in Germany, from a Coati Mundi, a racoon-like animal, (or Nasenbaer). I don't know why though! Long-nosed??

Re: Type 4 Facebook Page
I've always thouht of the type 4 as more of a platypus, due to it having parts in common with several other VW's

You misunderstand Judi - the nasenbear is the ugly-looking thing I was referring to. I didn't voice an opinion on the Type 4 - I wouldn't dare!
