I think it may be because they have not translated everything into English yet.
There are no parts shown for Type 3s on the English pages, just a 'Katalog', but they are detailed on the German pages.

Anyone looking should try both languages.

I don't think there are any VW dealers here who would get you something that way.
It may be different in Canada - I think maybe people help each other more. It's partly because you are all threatened by the great distances and severe winters - you have nature to fight, rather than each other!

yes and no,, here , vw and audi don't give their best for the service. If your car is past 10 years , they don't take the time to look in the parts book to sell the old parts ,, only for 200 old vw ,, they don't make money with that ,, and for sure it is différent in europe ,, here ( in Canada ) we are only 15-20 guy who drive the 411-412 ,,, very small market ,, and for the rest ,,type1-2-3 max. 200 ,,, the market makes the service ,,baby

Hi Cadillacman,
The parts warehouse is at http://shop.volkswarenhaus.de/ but it helps to know some German so you can see what is there, and how much. Don't bother with the English pages - they haven't put the stock there - just how to buy a catalogue.

It's not actually VW owned, but the guy has dealt in VW parts for maybe 20 or 30 years.
