Petrol cap -

Post by walkerdude2001 » 29th December 2006 - 11:25am

How the feck do i open it??? I have a lockable petrol cap, and i need to get it open to put petrol in otherwise i am stuck - but at least it is sorn at the mo, but i would like to get more fuel in it.
I have the key but i need to know if the section in the middle needs to be pushed in to then turn the key to unlock it - otherwise how am i going to use it???

I will probably need to get the car sorted with MOT soonish - and need to get is opened up and fuelled....otherwise is there a way to remove the petrol cap and replace it without damaging anything...

Please help....

allo, what car you have ,,, if it is the 412 ,, ,, open the trunk , remoove the grey carpet ever the gaz thank and remoove the 3 filip screws on the big black cover , and by inside you can see the gaz thank filler tube( 2" ) remoove the hose clip and push the tube by outside of the car , and look onder the front fender if the ventilation tube make restiction , and remoove this clip too ,, good luck ,,,

samething for the 411 ,,if your key is correct , you turn the key and you push hard on the gaz cap on the left side ,,, if the top knob make clic clic ,, wend you turn , the lock inside the gaz cap is broken ,,,drill the key hole
