Hi Guys,

Where can I get a exhaust silencer from for my 412 LE, is the Type 25 the same?

Hi, you just need a type 4 exhaust for a bay window T2. Heritage do a 1700 to 2000cc version, comes in two parts, the tail pipe is separate and comes out on the offside. Looks tidy though, i put one on my 412 LS.

Hi, in the past Iv use an end can off a Kawasaki motor bike. Might have to bend the grill thing up a bit. Also may need to enlarge the bolt holes a wee bit. Make you own gasket. A cheaper option. £10 off fleabay. Got one on my t25 at the mo.
Hope this helps even if a bit late on reply. :D

Upper silencer is the correct style for the VW 412, the silencer below is T2 style.
