Field of Dreams 3 - Escrick Park, York 11-13 September

Post by VeeDubKate » 3rd August 2015 - 8:07pm

Hello all,

Just a reminder that in just over 5 weeks, Field of Dreams is back for it's third year, second year at Escrick Park Estate.

Really hope to see some of you there. We'd really love a type 3 & 4 line up at the show :-)

Much dubluv!

PS Advance tickets are just £25 for a full weekend of chilled out camping, music and aircooled VWs.

Tickets available from www.classicvolks.com/vwfieldofdreams.html

Kate,

Sorry, I won't be able to make it this year as I already have commitments for that weekend. Hope the event keeps going from strength to strength

Can't make the whole weekend but could be interested in coming up for Sunday in my 412. When's the main action?

Is that yours in the background - I assumed your 412 was blue for some reason. Was either of the localish yellow 412's there ?

The white 412 in the background is my "other" 412, the Californian left-hooker. The blue one is my project car which is still awaiting my attention. I was the only Type 4 there and there were no Type 3s at all.

We drove over in the other halves Beetle and had a nosey around, show was a little small on the Sunday but I imagine it's more of a full-weekend event. 412 looked good, certainly stood out with it being the only type 3 or 4 I spotted on the sunday. There were quite a few Trekkers/Things there weren't there?
