VW TYPE 3 & 4 CLUB FORUM

Anyone know if there is a Type 3 & 4 display this year ?

sorry not this year, it was oversubscribed unfortunatley, will try harder for next year.

That's a shame....

Although I find it annoying that the show doesn't recognise the Type 3 & 4 club for the second year running...

I'll be there again, minus fastback, so if anyone is about let me know

That is a real shame..... I can imagine a good line up of 3&4's surely some of the campers could make space? Split screen club get plenty, can't they share.......not club politics is it?
I have found this when showing a car in the past that if it has not had the main VW so-called "names" been involved with it you don't get a look in........
I think the type 3 & 4 club should kick arse........
Even if we got some of the car park at the front entrance? Better than nothing.....what do other owners think?
I would love to see some kind of organised display?!

I've had some forms and info, but not heard from Danny - is he away?

There's a general club form, which I can fill in on the basis of 5 car spaces allocated each day, but they also want copies of a Rules and Regulations form signed by each person showing their car. That form hasn't been sent yet, so I've asked for it.
All that has to be returned by 4pm on 10 Feb, so everyone will have to get their skates on.

They want to know numbers arriving on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Camping is available at a special rate of £20 per unit.

...have they said if the club display is same place as usual - on the back paddock ?

I live local so can drop off the 412 on the Friday afternoon and leave it there all weekend...

Danny is alive & kicking, But slightly preoccupied at the mo

I'm on the case! just waiting for the form to be sent to me from Volksworld, we can have 5 cars, If possible can those 5 do both days as I plan to be there for the Saturday only so won't be able to pass on passes to others like normal.

Yes all weekend is fine with me but I'll drop my car off on the Friday afternoon, so if I can get my pass from Adrian or someone on the Friday that would be great...

All going well and if I get mine wrapped in time, I would love to show but.......couldn't do both days! Is there anyway around this?

I have digital copies of all the forms as they were sent out by Clive to the KGOC members that are displaying (I have defected for a year...).
