BRISTOL AIRCOOLED+ 17th and 18th September

Post by Editor » 2nd August 2016 - 10:38am

Hi guys.
Peter here from Bristol Volksfest and Oktoberfest.
We have a show coming up in September called Bristol Aircooled+ and we think it'd be something your club would be in to!

It's an Aircooled Volkswagen and Retro American car show & swap meet with a chilled out afternoon and evening of entertainment with old style VDub show games, live music, food, bar and camping on Saturday. Followed on Sunday by a show and shine, focused on Aircooled VWs and pre 80s American cars, bikes and autojumble swap meet. It's a bit different to what we normally do, more reminiscent of the old grass roots shows.

Celebrating all Aircooled V-Dubs and American classic, retro and vintage cars and bikes.
Taking things right back to basics with a real old school grass roots show vibe.
Featuring Rothfink Show & Shine, top show cars and daily drivers, autojumble, retro + vintage memorabilia, VW specialists.

Clubs and club displays welcome.
Club displays please note that displays are for Aircooled VW and American (pre 80’s) vehicles. Watercooled drivers are of course welcome, we just ask that they are camped/parked behind and are not part of the display for the show on Sunday.

Saturday: Gates open at 12 mid-day. £12 per adult and over-12s. Includes Sat camping and entry to the show on Sunday.
An afternoon and evening of camping and old style show competitions - including bug push, driving skills + engine build and a mixture of other weird and wacky games.
In the evening we will have some live music, fire pit as well as some food stalls and a cider bar.

Sunday: Gates open at 9am - 4pm. £5 per adult and over-12s.
Aircooled + American Show & Shine day and autojumble swap meet.
With Rothfink entertainment, music and display area. Other displays including club displays, demos, buggy track, autojumble, vintage stalls, food and bar

Camping is available on Saturday night for all types.
Prices are £12 per person for Saturday, Sunday + camping. Under 12’s are free.
Sunday entry is £5 per person. Under 12’s are free. Dogs welcome.

General Admission:
Those people arriving in Aircooled to camp can go into the Aircooled+ American display and club field - ready for the show on Sunday. Those coming down in watercooled or other go into a camping area next to that. The competitions and entertainment throughout the weekend are open for everyone to get involved with.

Date: 17th + 18th September 2016
