Take advantage of our club discount at the new VW event in Cheshire – VW Budburg

Cheshire’s picturesque Oulton Park hosts VW Budburg on 6-7 May, an all-new, family-friendly VW Camper weekender, set against a backdrop of live music, superb VW machinery, and on-track action with a chilled out atmosphere.

VW Budburg is pleased to offer the following to your club:

Heavily discounted weekend and camping tickets
Designated area to park during the day in the heart of the show
The chance to join an on-circuit parade lap
VW-themed racing will take centre stage on the Saturday afternoon, with headline action from the Beetle-based Fun Cup, before club members are invited to take their machines out for a circuit parade lap. Following this, we’ve laid out a short but scenic route around the local roads for an evening cruise.

Returning to the circuit as dusk approaches, a VW line-up will signal the start of the evening’s entertainment, all played out on the huge inflatable movie screen. A family favourite ‘drive-in’ movie will kick off the evening closely followed by ‘live’ concert to party and dance the night away.

Sunday morning will dawn to a much quieter circuit but one you can still take full advantage of, with highlights including a human-power ‘race’ around the 1.6-mile circuit. You decide on walking, running, cycling or even hopping; it doesn’t matter how as long as you join in and have fun!

Sunday will also see the show & shine and best club competition awarded with a plethora of trophies up for grabs including the very first VW Budburg Best of Show, a highly cherished prize for any VW owner to claim.

VW clubs are the heartbeat of the VW scene so we have put together a special discount offer to ensure you all have amazing weekend away while at the same time put on a wonderful display for the festival visitors.

Discounted club only prices:

Adult weekend including camping £20 (per person – normally £30)
Children U13 FREE

Prices quoted are applicable to online advance purchases only. Tickets will be available on the day but at the full gate price.

Camping will be open from Friday 5th May between 15.00 and 23.00
Show gates open from 08.00 Saturday 6th May and 09.00 Sunday 7th May

A bar sponsored by Heineken is on hand to provide liquid refreshments!

You decide on walking, running, cycling or even hopping; it doesn’t matter how as long as you join in and have fun all in aid of St Luke’s Hospice charity. We will also have a vintage passengers bus to take you round the circuit on a guided tour of the historic circuit, just in case you don’t fancy the walk!

Sunday will also see the show & shine judging, offering awards to the top 20 ‘cool’ VWs and best club competition plus the very first VW Budburg Best of Show, a highly cherished prize for any VW owner to claim.

We’ve also laid out a short but scenic route around the local roads for you to enjoy at any point over the weekend with many interesting things to see and do along the way from castles to an ice cream factory! We’ll be using this route for an evening cruise on Saturday night following the track parade hut do feel free to drive it at any point.

Apologies only just seen the thread!

No, this is not Dubworth, my wife and myself are not involved in the organisation of this event in any way. I believe ex-volksworld staff and Just Kampers are having a input into it's organisation in conjunction with MSV. I think it is more inclusive of watercooled-campers than last years Dubworth, which was very classic focused.

Let's hope it has the same feel
