Hi all just got my first type3 I have owned a lot of air cooled dubs my daily is an air cooled brazilian bay and the wife runs a 61 bug . Just got a pair of wing for the fastback just need a motor for it now .and a bit of welding and some body work

That looks decently sound - probably more to sort than apparent though, but that's not unusual.
Good to see the transmission being supported - that's quite important or the front gearbox mount suffers, as the engine mounts would normally support the back of the gearbox, on the CV-joint suspension models.
