I've asked Ted to send them to me if he hasn't got anywhere on the web to put them up. They appear to still be on his C-drive at the moment.

Any more information Ted?

If you go to the picture on AOL, right click and select Properties, it gives the Address (URL) of the image. That's what you need to put on this site, and then we will be able to see it here. If you put that URL in your message, highlight it and click Img in the panel on the message box, and then Submit, it will display.

I've just done this with their daisy picture on the log-in page, which has a URL
http://pictures.aol.com/ap/publish/imag ... _daisy.jpg .

I would expect it to need to have .jpg on the end of the URL, so I think like a lot of other AOL ideas, it's deliberately designed to not behave normally!

Hi Dave ,
There is another series of numbers in AOL properties that does end with jpg - I will try that and see what happens !

ED: I've put a couple of the image URLs together and got this:-
http://shutter10.pictures.aol.com/data/ ... sNOOAO.jpg
Sandwich between the Image gives this:-
Image

So it's possible, you just need to get the whole image from 'http' right through to '.jpg'. You need to carry on with the highlight for a third row! But first the pics need to be there again!

A another victim of AO Hell !!! :p

That last link you posted wasn't a full url, for it to work it would need the http://www. bit at the start.

You could always practise on the likes of the type 3&4 logo above. Right click, properties, triple click to get the full address then post it in the Image

Well done Ted. It looks like you're using the 'thumbnail' URL - try getting the picture on your screen and see if you can get the URL for a larger picture from that.
We're seeing you and your car the size of a large postage stamp.

Maybe if you get the larger image on your screen and go through the right click etc to get the URL. It looks as if you're still getting the thumbnail URL.

I see the silver salver pic has come out good-sized now.

Dave.

Nice looking car!

shame I had to use a magnifying glass to see it

Seriously though, I use photobucket when I post any pics and I always use the bottom of the 4 choices they give

Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code

Clicking on the IMG Code copies the link and enables you to then paste the link by right clicking the mouse in the text window on the forum you want to post the picture on.

I think that makes sense :?

Can you check the size you are uploading them? This is from the IMG Code, but it's not a lot larger - certainly not as big as the one you managed higher up the page.

There's an FAQ on size of the image at:-
http://photobucket.com/faq?catID=68&cat ... opicID=463 or maybe other questions might apply, too.

(Don't forget the : in the http:// I left it out so you couls see the command in text)
