My Fasty
Shes been off the road for around 3 years now :( I gave her a bit of a clean up yesterday, turned out really nicely cosidering shes been sat out in the elements all that time :)

All she needs now is an engine and M.O.T.

Good to see you got on the forum Tris. Dorset - that's my place of origin; not quite born there, but certainly bred there.

Good looking car - Sumatra green this time.

Thanks for the warm welcomes 8)
Glad you guys like the car... Decided to rebuild the engine myself rather than source another, have built them before, its just the fuel injection I'm not sure on.. expect plenty of Q's from me :?

Just wish I never decided to "clean" the engine and end up totaly stripping it

Nice car, the Ronals look really good on that. Makes me think I should go clean mine up if they can come up that good! :)

I was unsure about FI until I couldn't turn down a 1600E that was offered. The basic system is fairly easy to deal with, and all the problems have been worked through. It's plug and play really, with main problems poor connections, but you can get trouble with a couple of parts.

You have to be careful blaming the FI for problems like valves or ignition timing needing adjustment and low system voltage - that's the one that mechanics often don't think of.

Yeah it never had any problems at all untill I stripped it down, so should all still work. Its just a case of what goes where....
I did take plenty of pics before I stripped it. Really wish I had left it alone now

Heres some pics of the interior, Vinyl needs a bit of a clean as does the carpets, but its pretty much mint, and all original...
