I have recently bought my first classic VW and Im sure on this site you will all be pleased to hear it is a type 3 
1971 Squareback to be more precise. I was just wondering if anyone had any info on the cars History the number plate is MPX 739J I will get some pics up when I get more time. The car is in pretty tidy condition, unmodified (not sure how long that will last). It is I think in its original Marina Blue colour, with a nice red interior (not sure how original the interior is for that colour car though).
Any how, this seems to be a pretty useful forum for all things type 3 and 4 so no doubt this will be the first of many posts.
