Junkyard Fasty
Hi all, not been a member for long and this is my first type3. Had many Bug projects in the fast so new toy should be interesing
First saw this for sale on thesamba and didnt plan to buy a type 3 but found myself going back for another look. In the end I contacted the seller but it had no title as was saved from a junk yard in southern california.
The seller advised he could get a title and 3 weeks later had a clean title in hand....story goes the seller went to the local junkyard for T25 parts and the fastback was two inline for crusher. He offered $300 and saved it.
It then spent 2 years outside his shop before he decided to move it on and this is where I come into the picture. Nobody was interested on the samba I guess as it didnt have a title. I put in an offer that you couldnt even buy an engine for over here and was accepted....
She landed in UK 25th June 2016
Thanks AK
