Thanks everyone out there that has taken time to look at my projects over the years.
It looks like most everyone except the bots have moved on. I miss people in the forums and being able to actually for wht they are doing, but I guess other types of social media have won out :( Bye all

Im still here, it wasnt that I was on anti social media. I was just generally not sitting and looking at builds. Id been through a huge build of nearly 2 years, and wanted to do something else for a few months. But im catching up now!

Disassembly of the rear to get out the old nose cone complete! I had to remove the trunk floor, the rear most truss bar, cut out a nosecone mount and reroute battery wiring, but it is out. Next, clean up and make access holes for the new NC hex bolts to be tightened.

Next, I need to make the transmission mount area removable to put the new nosecone on and make is serviceable in the future (learn as you go). If that all goes well this week, I can start installing the shift rods and removing the old cable mounts.
Wish me luck!

My Hi Jumper nose cone positively finds all gears, fwd or rvs. Woot! In a sand rail, they go over the axle. In my car, that will not work, so I get to reroute it, but...
It will work!

Currently have 1 eye working, so what to do?

Start pulling things...

Windshield, mirrors, emblems, tonneau pins and lights all pulled.

Now the interior panels. I think the vdo gauges will work in the new color scheme.

John Jaranson did this drawing for me a bazillion years ago. I grayed the digital copy to get an idea of where I want to end up.

Had a hemorrhage in it. It is sloooooowly clearing. But, with little depth perception, projects are stalled.
