hello
my name is gert, i am from belgium
last weekend i was in budel and i have got a visitcard from this website and forum
i have 411 from 70 with 4 doors, a grey one, not restored

Welcome to our Forum, Gert, and thank-you for joining. One of our UK members had a 1970 411 he bought in Belgium - that was also grey.

is there a picture from the car he bouhgt in belgium, mayby we have the same model, mine is a four doors

Yes, I think Danny was at Budel, probably he put the card on your car.

I don't think I've got a photo, but club records say that 411 was a 2-door, so it's not the same one. I've just checked the licensing people and it was silver, not grey. I don't know what happened to it, as I believe the engine seized.

i have talked to the guy who gave my the card, there was also a guy with him with a barndoor from 51, and i think the went to bad camberg from budel

Yes, Danny said he was going to Budel and onto Bad Camberg.

Yep that was me, was good to meet you, were you the guy with the Italian spec front indicators on your Type 4? I would never have noticed them if you didnt show me.

any plans to come over to the U.K?

hi danny, so you are the type 3 freak, hehehehe,
it is a little dream to come to a meeting in the uk,
but next week 6-7 en 8 juli is our meeting, so a lot of work he,
and afterwords we go to a vw meeting in tournai (nearby the french border) en then to krabelli in luxembourg

we hope to find some english guys next week in chimay (bug in) and try to get them the weekend after to our meeting,

It's the British VW Festival at Malvern that weekend, Gert. Hoping for lots of Type 3s.

I've 7 passes available, but rather than send out, can you come to the stand and collect? Usually by the concours area.
