Check the silencer isn't threatening the bellows - the original Type 3 has an insulated heat baffle over the top to stop the bellows softening, as they can then be sucked in and block the air-intake!

Thanks for the heads up dave ;) Just checked and its about 50mm bellow the bellows, any idea if that would be ok?
I would have thought so but will keep an eye on it and if it gets to warm for comfort I'll concoct some kinda heat sheild :D

That sounds enough - I think the stock silencer is closer, but not sure how much radiated heat there might be.
