You are doing an epic job there, keep going.
I remember this car from a few shows I managed to make it too and its easily the best looking Type 4 I have seen, wheels suit it perfectly.
Dave.

cheers mate
right then had a good weekend on the car dosent actualy look like i gone far as iver been doing the rear suspension mount
desided to cut the hole section out the car and make a new one
so went from this
to this
then started to fabricate a new one
then got it welded back into the car
some new steel to go round the suspension mount to make up the inner arch
then moved on to replaceing the rear outer arch and reparing it again with old wings to get the profile
then it was time to cut the NOS wing i got as it was for a 411 and not a 412 and as it took 18 months to find i desided to graft the light section and bumper recess in from the original wing
well im the rear is nearly done as it seems like ive been doing the rear arck for ages next is the sill and then the front inner arch

well i havent posted much latley but have been busy on the 412
i striped all the new metal and gave it 2 coats of por15 nice messy job lol
and gave some bits a few coats as well
the i covererd the whole front and back inner arches with seam seal to stop any water geting anywhere and it acts as a good stone chip
its also been shultz thats been sprayed on but i aint got a pick of that
i then started to prep the rear arch with its first layer of filler
then rebuilt the rear suspension while the filler was going off
then the last few days have been getting to this
havent done much filler work befor quite happy how its turned out
i can see a mot in the next 2 weeks
not going to bother spraying it till next year so not to botherd about the preping work just yet will do that in the summer

Nice to see you putting in that extra effort to keep one of the less popular cars on the road. A 412 is not an easy task as I'm sure your aware
cheers for the coments dude
right been a bit since i last posted i have been working on the car just not taking any pics lol
right finaly managed to weld the front apron and wheel well up and chucked some filler at it while i was there
and got the front and back wings all fitted and bolted up and the doors back on and aligned and fitted the driver side lights just to see how they fit with the front
