getting a bit sad now spent 2 hours getting the petrol flap to fit right..

then fit the pop outs ,had no hole in pillar so drilled those then rivnutted the catch ones..

I know it was a while back now (way back on page 2), but can I ask how you re-created the rear valance indents in your repair panel, they look superb!

Hi I can remember I used a vice set at the correct width then gently hammers them inwith a 10 mm deep reach snap on socket ,then gentley bent the swage into it ,then tidyed up with a small air grinder and dremmel...

Also looking back at the photos you can see a weird sqaure washer stair I made up to hammer in the straight edges....

Hi cheers for your praise ,I work on a car body shop 4 days ,aweek the other day doin resto stuff for spooky club members and freinds would do it all the time if could make it pay ,also do a lot of engine builds and such likes ...
Getting close to paint now ,just tryin to fit it in ...

so thats it no more rot .........

so 354 hours over 2 years 12kg of welding wire , 3 4x8 sheets of 1.2 mm steel and some panels...
body prep from now on .....
