yeh weather been great here ,got about 6 hours each in those those sections before even fitting on car...
lite at the end of tunnel tho just got to fit rear panel then sort out the front panel and bumper supports then no more welding .... :lol:

Looks like it's been a pretty mammoth task to get the steel sorted, must be nice to be on the home stretch!!

Got the front end of the fasty completely stripped, it's not too bad really...just want to have some decent weather so i can get at it!!

I'll bell you when I get stuck buddy!!

had weekend of last week up to leeds to get parts from jay , cheers dude...
so finished rear panel sand started to gap up rear wings and make lower fixings...

some more from today worked on it for hours didnt seem to get much done ,to bleedin hot.. :shock:
fixed the crusty bottom of rear wing..

made up new lower profile for edge, old hot rodders trick made from 6mm dowel gives much needed strenght to this weak point..

hi not sure the correct gauge but is between .9 and 1 mm real nice to work with takes alot of beating but im cuttin it with tin snips..
about same thickness as original or slightly thicker..

afew from this weekend not done much hotrod show yesterday and b day barby , so head full of tequila today so just gental...
gapped up rear bumper , started to refurb pop outs ,stripped chrome of and repolised ,got rubbers from guy at hot rod show will let you all know how they work out as alternative to getting them else were...

finaly managed to get back on it today been mental for me latly...
any how final gap on driver side tryed my other door but fit not great and fairly rotten ,so repaired my original one...

Now I like the pud tins idea!!! genius...was at Vanfest at the weekend & set of BRM centre caps were £35 - I'm off to Tesco!! :unibrow:
