registered 01.01.69 so i recken it's a 68, but anyway a bit of front end progress....

It's more lkely a '69 model - they were made from August '68. Easiest way to be sure is check the 3rd digit of the chassis number. '9' means '69. '8' would mean '68. I'm guessing yours starts 319....

yeah i know post august , after the hols finished ,cars are next years model, it's just a bugbear a car built in 68 is called a 69 doesn't seem fair somehow, not that it really matters. thanks for the chasis number info i'll have a look.
