Good work Kai

Hi Angelo, happy new year.
My laminated screen is an old one a friend of mine was holding onto, I’m unsure to the brand. I do recall reading about your issues with your triplex screen. This screen ive got, It’s not a perfect reproduction to the VW screen but does fit ok.
Incidentally I did enquire into getting a heated front screen for my car which is made by Pilkington. I queried the supplier to the fitment who basically said it would fit but offered no guarantee and it was non refundable. Then my friend offered me the screen I eventually installed. Recently there was somebody on this forum who successfully confirmed the fitment of the Pilkington screen. In the future when funds are available I’ll go ahead with the heated screen.
The arches came from eBay, from Russia of all places.

I would say, going for the 911 wheels with low offsets I could of probably gotten away with flaring the metal rather then fitting the over arches. I’m still very happy with what I’ve created and no rubbing issues either.
