Square resto, Sydney

Post by Leisurecruise » 15th November 2011 - 9:32pm

Three parts to this story. Act I, I bought it around 2006 and it got assembled in Perth for trip to Sydney. Act II, it sat in Sydney for a while before resto began. Act III, I went back to UK for 2+years now back to put this together. Er, to bring it back to UK most prob.

Original assembly back in 2006 - that's not original paint.

It sat underneath work for a long time. The MD thought it belonged to this accoutant and that he worked hard, first in last out. That bloke prob got a bigger retirement present for that

230hrs of body prep under that paint

and this is where it sat till a month ago when I got back and onto it

How many times have you been working on your car and lent out to pick up a tool and come face to face with this?

I couldn't do that to him, he was quite friendly really though I had to chase him around the car twice to get him out. When I'm vulnerable upside down or whatever I don't want him about, I heard him crashing about climbing on stuff the other day and yelled 'f off' and he left. Did notice him later in the day in the distance and drove over to say hello but he ran away - a waddle-like run (Not Chris). He's an Eastern Water Dragon.

You'd need a lot for upholstery - 3 or 4 would make a spiky steering wheel glove, I expect.

Probably not a good idea - he may have dragon-sized friends!

Just needs a few things, door handles from the chromer etc.. Great to get it going. Another one lives.
