great 40th birthday present(well not until 2nd august)
A nice 1971 fastback,tho quite a big project but a good save.needing bodywork and an engine,floor work but not going to rush this as got one or 2 other vw projects at mo.been off road since 2001,lowered so really looking forward in getting this home in a week or so.

Has it got a Type 4 Engine in it??
And forgive me for this..But are You sure she loves You??..Thats a bugger of a project!

i know big project,no engine at all just boxes of engine bits.

A lot of those bits are Type 4-Alternator & Heat exchangers for a start!..The Type 4 Chaps will relieve you of them,so dont bin anything!
Danny has a pair of fibreglass wings & I think some doors

ok thanks the bits are still in the car and not needed by me.so soon as i get these ill put them up here.thanks hopefully danny will see my wtd ad thanks im sure more bits in the back and def 2 carbs.

my birthday is the 2nd aug too, had my 4-0 two years ago though :(

my Fasty's got a type in it, need any help let me know ;)

looks exactly like my mums white fastback
which we scrapped ! as no one was brave enought to take it on.
