My latest ride as collected from "Up North". Drove down great on the Bank Holiday Monday in all the rain. Boy did I get some looks when stopping for coffee. Only plan at the moment is to get it back to yellow as you can see in the photos it tends to blend in to the background. Not in my street though. I would be grateful if any one has any information on it.

Re: Newest fleet member - 71 Squareback
Yes ! I keep getting told it's very rusty. I think it's red lead (or other unknown substitute) and black yuk (like soot). I have cleaned the tailgate only at the moment and it does make a difference

We have been at it with a DA - much better
Re: Newest fleet member - 71 Squareback
Just a quick update. Have had the carbs rebuilt and in the time the car has been garaged it's decided it doesn't want to play so at the moment the engine is being stripped down to investigate. We have lowered the front end slightly and had a bit of a laugh applying the new bonnet covering. Now we are bumperless I have also changed the indicators/sidelights. These were NOS items for under a tenner ! A mate is doing me some seat covers so when they are done I'll post some pictures.
