That is really lovely.

Forgive my ignorance (I'm new here, ya see) but which country's it coming from?

Cheers and good luck with it - I'm looking for one of these and seeing other people buy them makes me want to hurry up and get one!

Hi there,

Yes, I'd very much like to know of what's available there. Only real preferences are that it be the earlier body style (like your blue one) and fairly solid, although it'd be asking too much to be rust free! A Fastback would definately be cool, too.

All depends on money, but I would definately be interested to hear of any early-style type 3's coming over.

Cheers and once again, cool car!
G.

That's a stunning car and well worth it.

What route did he take - across to Denmark and across the Netherlands?

Cheers,
G.

Looking good. I should be going to Volksworld '07 - I'm based in Kent so it's not too far to go.

Been thinking of what to do with the notch.
hopfuly later this year i will have a 1776 going in.
and was thinking maybe a respray new rubbers and chrome next year.
any one know what an original 62 typ3 motor is worth? i think charlie is needing one for his.
have also been toying with the idea of air suspension. but its rather costly and if i come to part with it. a stocker will be easyer to sell

Thanks dude. :D the T25 was meant for cheap holidays, only been away in it a few times and its soooooo expensive on fuel especially as I use it as my dailydriver.

Chris,

Sorry to hear the T34 was rotten - shame cos I really like the Razor Edge Ghia, much underrated in my opinion but never mind.

Likewise if your brother stumbles across any more Notchbacks over there (preferably LHD), I'm still looking for one. Luckily the Escort has long gone and I might be buying a Beetle in the mean time but hopefully before too long I'll be Type 3 bound!

Cheers for now,
Graham.
