Vintage type 3 pics..& Fasty is getting a new Friend!
I've found a partial solution to the problems associated with camping in a tiny tent with a dodgy knee,And being unable to manage to get to any shows because of it.
Have agreed the Deal & am picking it up next week!

Dont worry chaps..I have the canvas roof, but didnt dare put it up,as the supporting legs are somewhat seized.
Unfortunately, rain has got into it in storage,so all the wood needs replacing,so effectively I've bought a solid trailer & a complete template for the caravan. All hardware is present,so it should be relatively simple.
Oh..and theres an awning too, which has been stored seperately & is in absolutely mint condition

Pity the wet has got in.
I'm guessing that much marine ply may come quite pricey. I'm not sure if all 'exterior' grade ply is as reliable as it should be, but somewhere like Avon Plywood at Keynsham (by the tip) would be a good place to ask. I think someone there has a Type 2 T4 (?) with a number that suggests he's a VW enthusiast (T4 BUS or something). Could be worth approaching them. http://www.avonplywood.co.uk/

Thanks guys! I'm rather pleased with it !
Sadly, it won't be getting a trip up to Stanford-I pulled out about a month ago, when I realised it wasn't going to be ready.
First proper outing will be Stonor show, though I'm hoping to have a night out before then
I've still got a few bits to do before stonor- Wheel bearings to be fitted, legs to be made, Side panels to be made.
Seat panels are getting the final coat of Varnish this weekend & Roof repair is underway

Beautiful, Peter!!!
Looks like a nice way to up the luxury factor for a weekend away and it looks properly cool hanging off the back of the Fasty!!
I did notice a most haunted style light anomaly in the pic of your sleeping quarters...looks like the former keeper is appreciating your hard work too!!!
Would be lovely to see it in the flesh some time, I'll keep a beady eye out for it!!
Gaz

I had the pleasure of sitting in this trailer tent a few weeks ago. It is absolutely lovely. These things usually aren't my cup of tea, but this thing is great. A credit to you and your work Peter.
