Next year (2015)..........50 years of the VW Fastback.

Post by Danny Lord » 20th February 2014 - 7:33pm

So next year is the 50th Anniversary of the Fastback, was just thinking if the nice people would let us do a display at Stanford Hall possibly in the same place we celebrated the anniversary of the Type 3 back in 2011, am just thinking out loud at the mo just to see how many Fasties we could get, maybe we could have a area as well next to the Fasties for the other Type 3's and 4's?

I will be sending the form off this weekend for THIS years Stanford Hall, will start a thread in events for that, once I have confirmation that we have a display plot.

so Just out of interest how many Fastbacks can we get out of the woodwork to get there?

Sounds a great idea Danny, I have my August 65 Fastback I could bring along.
I might even have the October 65 on the road by then!

It'd give me another reason to bring the old girl out from the back of the unit.
