Re: 68 Fastback
Try this - the code is complete except for the first "[" and I have linked the picture for you as an example
Copy the URL from the "Direct" link, not the HTML

Re: 68 Fastback
That's strange I'm not doing anything different just pulling photo bucket link and pasting it here?

Re: 68 Fastback
If I put just 1 image on its own it works, but if it's more than one or with a write up, it just shows the link no pictures, I've just tried to modify the first post and one worked and the second one just says image. I'm lost

Re: 68 Fastback
It's says [img width=450
height=600] at beginning on all pics? On both the ones that work and those that don't? I can't see a difference in the code set on either.

Re: 68 Fastback
You don't need the image size information, thats web html code. All you need to do is go to Photobucket, copy the Direct link details, click on the Img option in the posting box which will give you the opening / closing php tags, then paste the picture link details between the tags.
If it just says Image, that means that the link details are not valid, it can't find a picture to show

Thanks for trying to help David , I've cut and pasted the post onto my local vw site it shows all pics? On here it sometimes works ,sometimes not, on photobucket I get 4 options I click on the one that says forums etc and it says link copied I then post on here, and get various results

Re: 68 Fastback
Thank you Peter , was I doing something wrong? Not the sharpest on this inter web thingy
Re: 68 Fastback
Sorry the picture posting is being so much trouble.
"http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa21 ... 0rrye7.jpg" worked with the previous lot - note it starts http://i199... rather than http://s199...., which simply generates a little image logo.
If you can find the URL in this format, it should only be a matter of copying it to the post, highlighting it and click on Img box at the top of the post, which inserts the each end of the image URL.

Re: 68 Fastback
Thanks Dave, I'm away for a few weeks , so I'll give it another go once I'm home. I wonder if it's because I'm posting on an iPhone rather than a full computer? Take care all see you soon

Re: 68 Fastback
Back home now , see if I can get some work done, and pics to work
Decided to fit the corner part edge to edge rather than leave a seam, taken ages but should look good on finished
Some small infil bits to finish, then grind up and zinc paint, the swage line needs dollying, correct the shape, but I'm happy so far.

Re: 68 Fastback
Then moved onto sill, now mostly welded in
Still have some gaps to fill
Also got some similar ...ish gold paint in satin that should blend in once I rub it back a bit to age it.... See how that goes .
If I fail I'll have to look at a respray, I'd like to keep the faded stuff
Arch bit back in
And a splodge of test paint. Ok it's over some black but not too bad of a match

Re: 68 Fastback
The other side
Or the worst side, but having already done it once should be a bit easier
I did make a few decisions, first I wasn't going to edge to edge this side as took forever and didn't look that nice once done plus you can't see it anyway!!!
Use my new strinker as much as possible
Having already done one side the making up of the bits went fairly quickly
