How sad. Sorry to have missed the announcement. He had a steady stream of interesting genuine parts.

For those who are interested, it was by far the best funeral I've ever been to! at least partly organised by Ed Himself
I have the booklet/blurb for anyone to see
It turns out He was also a well known dj on the club circuit in Bristol & a friend/contemporary of DJ Derek
He also co-founded sustrans (the local cycling network)
At the end of the Funeral they dished out usb sticks with 6 hours of his music on- all 50's/'60's Blues/bebop/boogywoogie/light jazz... Bloody superb!
His stash of parts have gone to a good home & His Microfiche reader is in my garage!

Thanks for supporting his funeral, and ensuring the microfiche reader survives. He seemed a very friendly and welcoming chap when I called in to his house to buy some parts some years ago.

He was a lovely bloke, with obviously many talents. I used to pop in for a cuppa and a chat whenever I could.
