oh god!!! what could of gone wrong? and how does that effect the fan shroud?

It doesn't affect the fanhousing, but the thicker pump makes you ask the question
Different pumps have different sized galleries, so you need to keep an eye on whether the galleries align between case & pump & on the sizes of galleries
Big galleries on pump/small on case would give you stonking oil pressure, but risk blowing the seals
small on pump, big in case would give low pressure & risk oil starvation
Don't worry unduly about it

lol!! ok- its too late now- im committed - or willbe soon
So .....the fan housing went on, but didnt line up, so rich ground back the bolt more and the housing a bit and it went on straighter hopes its ok!!
