Hi everyone. I’m looking to get a set of 16” Porsche manhole covers for my 71 Fastback. I know I need to drill my disks and hubs to swap to 5 x 130 but my question is around what wheel width I should be looking for. I believe the Porsche wheels are staggered with 6” up front and 7” at the back. I will also be lowering the car but probably not slammed. Am I likely to run into any clearance issues with those sizes?
Thank you
Porsche Wheels
Re: Porsche Wheels
You will probably find the fronts rub at full lock, and the rear will touch the wings over bumps, depending on how low you go.

Cheers Broady, I’ve since read on the Samba that ideally it needs to be 6” all round to stand any chance, which I think was two sets of fronts. That’ll be fun finding those!

I happen to have a set of 4 6" wide 928 wheel for sale. With excellent Toyo Proxes tyres as well. They're 205/55 16s for the rear and 195/45 fronts (I'll have to check the front size but I think that's what they are)Louie2shoes wrote: ↑21st June 2022 - 6:31pmCheers Broady, I’ve since read on the Samba that ideally it needs to be 6” all round to stand any chance, which I think was two sets of fronts. Here's a pic of the wheels in question on my Beetle
