This was on ebay last year ( I thought about buying it) hope it comes out to play again soon. you can see Brian Johnson (and his Notch) in the back ground, that was the first show I ever met him at, Beetle bash '94?

Completely rotten. It had been left sitting in a yard surrounded by long grass and the inside was so damp the carpets were green with moss.
Sills were no longer attatched to the edge of the floor pans as it had rusted through.
Bit sad seeing how it looked before it went rotten.

It's true... My French barn find
Sold to T3D for Chris Lacy in Guernsey. I'm not sure if it's still there, as I've not heard from Chris for many years.
Nice to see the pic.

Here's Mikes old one/ Chris Laceys again:
And here is Dave Campen's late Notch that he later took over to France when he moved out there. This pic was taken just after he bought it:

Hi
The pink notchback is mine! I just found this thread with a picture of my notch before the roof was removed! Very strange because I was lead to believe the car was painted pink after the roof chop and restore!?? This picture was taken long before we bought it! any idea what year that was??
WOW! Do you have any other pics of it??
The car is off the road this year thanks to some idiot driving in to the back of me at 30mph whilst I was stationary at traffic lights! But the good news is that next time you see it at the shows it will have been completely re-finished!
I'll post some pics up on here soon.

That is the only pic I have. It must have been 1993.
I took the pic for a mate really - he had a 72 fasty and was going through the fitting early bug headlights thing.
Must dig out some more old type 3 pics.
