Newbie
Hi
So, I finally manged to get a Square. I went for a lovely 1970 in the end. The earlier ones that I looked at were too much for what they needed imo. The 70 has some work to do to get it to the level I want, so I'm going to run it as is for the summer whilst doing what I can cosmetically. I'm putting out a request. It's got some after market seats from the mid nineties that I'm not keen on. I'm also slightly concerned with how the previous owner has attached these.
So I'm on the look out for some replacement seats and bases. Not sure if any of you chaps would have any spares. Also required are original or repro mirrors both sides as the current ones are frankly vile! Quarter lights as it currently runs one piece electric windows! (wtf) Anyway I'm sure with the QL back in it will look so much better with them.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys soon.

Re: Newbie
You'd only need to ask if you were struggling. You will need to join a website like flickr or imageshack. Upload your photos to there and then copy the link which points directly at your picture. it will look something like this http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/3708/exampleb.png it may also end in .jpg
There is a button at the top
Click it and it will type [im g] and [/im g] Paste your copied link where there word "and" is, and bing. You have posted a photo

Best of luck, and further bother and I will be happy to help. It all seems techy and complicated at first but becomes very simple quickly

Re: Newbie
Ah I see flickr has changed and isn't as obvious as it once was. So ive tried a little guide. I hope it make sence. I think you have the right idea.
On the image click the arrow for share.
Then on the pop up click BBCode, select a size around 1000px, larger images tend to be big for most browsers.
Then copy that code straight onto the forum, there is no need to press the little image button above. Flickr has insert that already, so id given you some duff info there.

Re: Newbie
Here we go. Image before is from the awesome interiors insta. I liked the image so did a d/l. As you can see I have quite a lot of work to do to get it looking right and the stance working etc. Put the chrome trim back on drop the front a little and get rid of those baby turbo mirrors. Which I hate. Quarter lights going in etc. But enjoying being at the start of the journey.
Re: Newbie
looks to be nice and straight car - those mirrors were very popular in the 80s!
hopefully the original mounts will be behind ready for some originals
enjoy the project...

Re: Newbie
Btw Jmarkha1 Your square is really nice. I can only find a pic of it on the trailer though. Do you have some completed pictures of the project? I'd love to see it all finished. It's a dream.
Re: Newbie
thanks Lee
all the pics must have disappeared with ImageShack
I will post some new ones.
Embarrassed to say the car is still wrapped up in a garage waiting for me to have space to finish it off - work commitments...
definitely will get finished and used at some point...
