Very nice! How is the shift location or is it paddles?

shift position is pretty much as it should be, no paddles.

You are annoyingly good! that looks like it should have been in that chassis all a long!

Re: project 72 fastty
finally back on the fastback, hopefully now on it until its done.
dug it out and straight on it. going to finish up the rear body mounts and then the body can come back off for final welding and sanding on the chassis.
more soon.

Re: project 72 fastty
its been awhile and yes i am still on with the fassty build all be it much slower than i would like .
moved house a year ago so its been full bore into that and i am just having the garage extended so as soon as the fassty is painted it can come home to be built up. this i am hoping is the motivation i need to get on with the build.

Re: project 72 fastty
cheers Ant B,
i am hoping the only way you can tell is if it,s parked next to the same year car. want it to look stock .
going to need a few bits of bright work in the next few weeks as all the chrome is going to be painted so dont want to buy new so will get an add in the wanted section pretty soon .

Re: project 72 fastty
bit more done, on with gapping all the panels.
started withe the passenger wing and door . set the door with a nice 4mm gap to the sill then welded the edge of the wing to get the same 4mm gap down the door front edge. after a bit of cutting and welding got the wing to sit right with the door and the scuttle panel under the window screen . wing fits front panel ok so its now on to the drivers front wing and door and then i can set the back wings in position.
in the last pic you can see just how long the front now looks .
